Getting to the Heart of the Matter Course

Applied Knowledge about Chakras, 5 Elements, and the Tree of Life

This course aims to familiarize participants with several models of natural medicine. We will apply these models to assess ourselves and design solutions to life’s problems. The shared techniques can be used with clients, families, or ourselves.

We are co-creators of our lives and environments. As such, the way we do things, the way we think, and what feels good and correct are heavily influenced by the people and environments we have been exposed to from birth until now.

What about other possibilities? Have we adopted the best patterns and processes? How can we evaluate our progress? How do we make systematic changes? Where do we start? We will begin to answer some of these questions.

Getting to the Heart of the Matter Course

Sessions 1 – 4

Sessions 1 - 4 are self-assessment and self-inquiry. They are designed to identify how our physical imbalances are connected to the cords of our emotional past and present.

Participants will:

Learn to assess themselves individually.

Find out how to process their experiences by listening and speaking in group sessions.

Be engaged by an experienced and skilled facilitator.

Sessions 1 through 4 provide a clarifying step and form the foundation for subsequent sessions. The techniques introduced in Sessions 5 -7 are based on the Truth that we are all one, connected, and meant to create our reality. These techniques were chosen because they can produce a higher quality of life, facilitate achieving worthy goals, and develop systematic ways to move through life.

Session 5 - Chakras

Chakras are energy centers that sustain our lives. Like the rest of our being, they require care and attention to maintain optimal health.

Participants will:

How our emotional body systems work with and affect our energetic (chakra) systems.
Techniques to identify the Presence and Power of our chakras.
Specific tools to balance the chakras and our physical, emotional, and Spiritual selves

Session 6 - Nature

Nature uses a 5-element model to show how we are like Nature. We use this model to examine a problem and its many solutions.

Participants will:

About the 5-element model and each of its elements.

How to use this model to identify life’s imbalances in our bodies and environment.

How to apply the principles of the 5 elements to design solutions, corrections, and improvements.

Ways to recognize new 5-element correspondences that expand the model.

Session 7 - Tree of Life

Tree of Life is an ancient model that guides us through the process of manifesting and creating in our lives.

Participants will:

The basic structure of the Tree of Life.

How the chakras, 5 elements, and the Tree of Life provide interrelated information.

A process to systematically make improvements using any of the three systems.

It’s true that people can spend a lifetime studying each of these models. And it is also true that we do not have to know how to build an automobile to drive one. After driving for a while, we may understand that it would serve us to know more about auto mechanics, but we can derive value from simply driving. By mastering the intricacies of these models beyond the scope of these sessions, participants will understand how to apply powerful techniques to improve their lives and those around them.
